DESCRIPTION

The NFL's most popular (and from 2005 until 2010, only) video game franchise returns for its second season on Nintendo DS. The gridiron action unfolds similarly as in past seasons, but refined graphics and new passing features enhance this edition over its rookie season predecessor. During a play, the top screen shows a three-dimensional, behind-the-ball-carrier perspective, while the bottom screen presents a wider, top-down view of the field. Away from the action, gamers can choose line-ups, set formations, and call plays, using the handheld's touch-screen. As always, Madden NFL 06 features the real-life stadiums, teams, and players of the league, as based on most current rosters at the time of the game's release. ~ All Game Guide
