DESCRIPTION
What used to be a peaceful Old West town is now in a state of disarray. It seems that the notorious outlaw Mad Dog McCree and his band of thugs have taken over, kidnapping the mayor and his daughter in the process. Everyone else in town remains helpless, too scared to try any heroics against the infamous bandit. Who will rescue the town from such dire straits? It looks like it's all up to you, a stranger.
In Mad Dog McCree, prepare yourself for a game composed completely of live-action graphics. With light gun in hand, you'll need a quick trigger finger to take out all of McCree's henchmen before they pull the trigger on you. You've got three lives to deal with and will face the lawbreakers in banks, saloons, ammo shops, and other settings typical of an Old West town. Some of the bad guys will challenge you to quick-draw duels. You can even prepare for your shoot-outs by blasting away at bottles to start out.
Mad Dog McCree is a direct port from American Laser Games' successful Arcade game of the same name, the first completely live motion picture action shooting game. Though designed for play with a light gun, it is also compatible with a mouse or standard controller. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide
