DESCRIPTION
After drifting throughout the Old West, you stumble upon a small town. It's innocent looking, so you decide to see what's going on. But as soon as you step foot in the town, you realize that a bandit and his varmints are up to no good. This bandit is the notorious Mad Dog McCree, and he's kidnapped the mayor's daughter, entrapped the town sheriff and has stirred up all kinds of trouble in the once quiet town. After the Old Prospector begs and pleas with you to help stop the villain, you know what you must do: get your six-shooter ready for action!
This MS-DOS version of Mad Dog McCree is a translation of the now classic arcade shooting game of the same name. It was the first arcade game to ever use FMV sequences throughout the entire duration of play. Played from a first person perspective, you'll have to take out gunslingers with your pistol, save the sheriff, rescue the mayor's daughter and ultimately stop Mad Dog from anymore wrongdoing. You'll travel to the local saloon, the outskirts of town and to Mad Dog's hideout. But be careful, there's villains everywhere ready to put a bullet in you!
So what are you waiting for? Go get 'em, partner! ~ Michael L. House, All Game Guide
