DESCRIPTION

In the near future, a deadly virus threatens to kill all life on Earth. This diabolical weapon has come from a band of bizarre aliens whose leader is a ruthless creature known as the Machine Head. As the elite pilot of a heavily armed hovercraft, it's up to you, and you alone, to take down the enemies and destroy Machine Head before all of humanity has perished.

Machine Head is a first-person action game that puts players at the helm of a powerful craft in a one-against-many struggle against a deadly alien race. Your hovercraft can be maneuvered up and down slopes, and has the ability to strafe, helping it dodge enemy fire. And it packs more than enough firepower to take on the bad guys.

The usual arsenal of first-person mayhem is available in Machine Head, including machine guns, flamethrowers, bombs, plasma shots and laser beams. In addition to these "conventional" forms of ordinance, there are also special weapons such as tactical nuclear bombs that will sear any enemy standing in your way. Gameplay takes place either on open terrain or in hive-like tunnel structures created by an enemy.

Within Machine Head, a whole host of strange enemies await, including insects, zombies, dog-bats, and other strange conglomerations of creatures. In addition to killing enemy hordes, players will have objectives in each mission, such as clearing a path and protecting a train or destroying a certain number of specific items.
