DESCRIPTION
Machinarium is a point-and-click adventure in which gamers take on the role of a robot who has been exiled to the scrap heap. Players must use logic, collect important items, and solve environmental puzzles to get the robot back into the grand city of Machinarium so he can rescue his girlfriend, save the head of the city, and defeat the bad robots from the Black Cap Brotherhood. Dialog is expressed via gestures and cartoon thought bubbles, and the hand-drawn visuals of Machinarium earned the game the "Excellence in Visual Art" award at the 2009 Independent Games Festival. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Wow, this is one beautiful looking game. There's also a little mini-game you can play to temporarily unlock a solution sheet for those who often get stuck on Point and Click Adventure games.”

“Awesome hand drawn graphics and animation, coupled with some really great music and sound design. The puzzles were very challenging, but usually were not too obscure that you couldn't figure it out (and for the one's that were, there is a nice little guide build into the game, if you so choose to use it). It's short, but I really enjoyed it while it lasted.”

The art and visuals, the music and sounds, the puzzles and of course the adorable robots - it's all so quirky and sweet and wonderful! I especially liked the humorous, visual speech bubbles explaining the background story.”
