A graphic adventure with classic animé styling, Lux-Pain tells the story of Atsuki, a young man out to avenge his dead parents. It seems the crime rate in historic Kisaragi City has exploded, and when the culprit turns out to be a parasitic worm that feeds on hate and sadness, Atsuki agrees to a painful operation to acquire Lux-Pain in his left arm. This new power gives him the strength to seek out and destroy the "Silent" worms by making his eye turn golden. To unravel the mystery of the Silent, players must guide Atsuki through the expansive world of Kisaragi City, gathering hints by talking to a variety of different characters, and using the stylus to perform autopsies and save potential victims before the worm infects their heart. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
