DESCRIPTION

Grid-based battle is waged in Luminous Arc 2, a continuation of Atllus' high-fantasy tale of witches, wizards, and beastly monsters. Players control a squad of young heroes, each with different abilities and powers according to training, through turn-by-turn combat against a great variety of enemy monsters and mobs. Multiplayer competition is supported over a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.

As the story goes, the witches' council that once kept peace in the land of Carnava has been broken and an old evil is returning. Quite by accident, Roland, a youth who dreamed of becoming a knight like his father, becomes the key to a great power desired by the quarreling witches. Finding him the best hope to settle the conflict, the ruler of the land, Sophia, sends Roland and his friends on a long, dangerous journey to help reconcile the feuding witches. ~ T.J. “This is a game to play if you loved the Fire Emblem series. Luminous Arc 2 is a tactical strategy RPG similar to that of Fire Emblem, but with some new mechanics built in (i.e. the direction you face makes all the difference in battle). Addictive!”
