DESCRIPTION

The first action RPG for the GameCube stars a young princess named Katia in her quest to prevent a dark and mysterious entity from destroying the five Kingdoms of Argwyll. To help her accomplish this task, players must find and collect an assortment of Guardian Cards used to fight enemy creatures. Each Guardian Card has the power to conjure a monster loyal to Katia, such as a skeleton, wolf, or dragon, to fight on her behalf. These conjured beasts will grow in experience over time as Katia becomes more powerful, and each offers its own form of special attack. As players advance through dozens of 3D locales, they can gather more than 100 distinct cards for use in both the adventure and in a separate two-player battle mode. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
