DESCRIPTION

Lords of the Realm, by Sierra puts you in the place of a feudal landholder of the Late Middle Ages. Starting with one fief and from 2-5 enemy lords, you must build an army, conquer territory, build castles and defend your lands against enemy lords and their armies.

On the home front, you must keep your people well-fed, content and happy, allocating their work amongst such industries as dairy and grain farming, timber cutting, stone cutting and weaponsmithing. You must attempt to not only work your land well, but to keep your lands prosperous, otherwise your people may well rise up in rebellion.

The other lords can be variously allies and enemies, but all of you contest for the same thing: complete victory over the others and more importantly, the Kingship. ~ Lisa Karen Savignano, All Game Guide
