DESCRIPTION
Based on Venture Line's obscure Arcade game, Looping for the ColecoVision puts you in control of an airplane which is capable of flying straight and in loops. The game moves from left to right, but you can fly to the left if you stay at the peak of a loop (you'll be upside down).
Your flight begins in the city where you must shoot a rocket (or rockets) in order to open the gate to the pipe maze. While flying above the city, hot air balloons will launch skyward, possibly on a collision course with your plane. You can shoot these balloons out of the sky for extra points. When you reach the pipe maze, you must avoid colliding with the pipes. Near the end of the pipe maze, you must avoid or shoot Twinkle Monsters and green drops of acid.
In the third and final section of the game, you must enter an outer and an inner room in order to dock your plane, shooting or avoiding bouncing balls all the while. When you reach The End (which is in the inner room), you start over at the beginning. Throughout the game, the faster you fly, the more points you earn. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
