DESCRIPTION

In Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, you are a bounty hunter known as the Lode Runner. The story is that the rulers of an evil empire have stolen all of the world's gems and gold, and your goal is to infiltrate their underground treasure. You have to win back all of the gold, coins, and anything else they may have stolen.

In addition to the "Lode Runner Play", where you go through a normal game level by level, you can also (1) choose a specific level to play, (2)play against a friend, (3) play your own homemade levels, (4) design your own levels. You will got through ten worlds, each with fifteen levels of increasing difficulty. After each world, you will get to see a mini-movie.

Your main goal is to help the character Jake Peril, the Lode Runner, get all of the treasures without being beaten by the Mad Monks, your enemy. As soon as you grab the last treasure in a level, you must make it to a portal to be transported to the next level.

You will have the use of a laser-blaster, which can blast holes to catch the monks, or can help you escape from danger. Good luck! ~ Mark Kanarick, All Game Guide
