DESCRIPTION
You play a crooked thief who was named Lupin in the arcade version. However, due to copyright issues Mattel opted not to use that name and were going to rename him but eventually decided not to give him any name at all.
As you hurry along with the fuzz hot on your tail you pick up coins and other valuables as you work your way through a labyrinth of walls. Gates can also be set up behind you in which you can trap in the police; hence the 'lock' in Lock 'N' Chase. The longer you can survive, the bigger and better your valuable treasures become as the cops wave their billy clubs in frustration.
Two versions exist; a 4K one and a 6K one. The 6K version features *much* better control of the main character. You can tell if you have the 6K (the fixed version) if your character collapses into his hat when caught by the police. ~ Chris Couper, All Game Guide
