“Presentation: 10/10
There really isn't any story line, apart from chasing down the kids who set the traps. The game itself is creepy from the point of starting the game, the introduction screen until the end of the game once beaten. You won't find another game like this but if you do, you will know whom set the trend.
Graphics: 9.5/10
This isn't the best looking game, however, for it's unique genre the game sets itself to an amazing eerie and dark setting that matches the characteristic of its gameplay with the visuals and animations setting the benchmark for platforms to come. Superb.
Sound: 9/10
The game is heavily focused on sound as there are several puzzles to solve and the sounds are creepy yet needed in order to progress further into the game.
Gameplay: 9.5/10
A 2D platform may seem like something from the 90's but times like these you really need to appreciate the way the game was developed. To the core, this is an amazingly fun game to play. The game is based on a trial-and-error sequence in order to move forward in the levels and strangely enough all levels are unique.
Lasting Appeal: 8/10
Limbo sets a unique genre to date, it can be very frustrating at times. The overall lasting appeal can always be rated at a harsh level for most arcade games or classics due to the small game size, but once you have completed all the continuous sequences in Limbo you most likely won't play the game again.
Overall: 9.5/10
Best game available on Xbox 360 Arcade as downloadable content.”

“Discovered, played, and finished Limbo (PC) this week-end. This game is just awesome, great puzzles, great atmosphere but TOO SHORT (like any awesome game :p). Can't wait for a sequel !”

“Playing this on PS3. I love the style of this game! The darkness adds so much to the atmosphere, and I felt creeped out enough that it kept me on edge the entire time I played.”

“I played it at an art game exhibition in Kassel, Germany. It really has athmosphere! BTW, coolest Spider-Kills ever!”

“I love this game. I love the minimalist design, the difficulty - it's so refreshing to have a game where you're expected to work out how to solve the puzzle rather than a helping hint appear at the third failure. Easily the best XBLA game I've played and may well try for a zero-death playthrough when time permits!”
