DESCRIPTION

Based on the 2004 film starring Jim Carrey in the title role, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events on mobile devices has players controlling one of the three Baudelaire orphans in a top-down adventure spanning an estimated 45 minutes of play. Players will explore five levels set in three locales while solving puzzles and using each character's unique abilities. Violet is the tallest of the three and is a budding inventor, Klaus is the strongest and an avid reader, while Sunny is the smallest and enjoys biting things. Each level or chapter features a series of objectives that must be completed in order to advance, such as cleaning dishes. Yet before this task can be accomplished, players will have to locate the dishes and combine items to make the soap needed to wash them. The game automatically saves progress after each completed chapter, allowing players to continue their unfortunate adventure at a later time. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
