DESCRIPTION

Intended for children ages eight and up, LEGO Alpha Team focuses on strategy and team work as players lead six special force agents, each with specific powers and abilities, in an effort to thwart the evil Ogel's plan to dominate the world through mind-control. Operating from a third person perspective, players control experts Dash (motion), Radia (lasers), Charge (electrical), Crunch (explosives), Cam (motors), and Flex (ropes) as they try to disable the DOOM (Device for Ominous Orb Manufacturing) machine.

More than 40 missions require planning and skillful execution to solve puzzles involving precise placement of action tiles (jumping, movement, slides, bombs, trampolines and so forth), avoiding Ogel's zombies, and dodging environmental hazards such as sharks, fog, green goo, and flowing lava. Players receive briefings on objectives and hints from their robot helper Tee Vee prior to each mission in this combination point-and-click and keyboard control adventure.

LEGO Alpha Team missions are played in a linear fashion, with each successful completion unlocking the next mission. Action takes place in four locations: Ogel's Island, Goo Caverns, Deep-Sea Orb Factory and the Doom machine compound. Each mission consists of two modes of play (Build and Go), with increasingly more difficult chain-reaction tasks required as players advance through the levels. ~ All Game Guide
