DESCRIPTION
TimeGate Studios conjures more frantic company combat and "4X"-styled world development in this release based on the critically praised Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns. Kohan: Ahriman's Gift is designed to be accessible to veteran Kohan players as well as those new to the series, calling all willing gamers to the fantasy world of Kaldun for balanced empire building and tactical real-time warfare strung across a continuing storyline of heroic proportion.
As is not uncommon among follow-ups to so-called "sleeper-hit" games, this "expansion pack" is actually a full stand-alone continuation of the distinct gameplay introduced in Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns. While veterans of the original title will be treated to three new campaigns, more than 40 new maps, and a bevy of new units, technologies, and Kohan heroes, those who never installed or played the first game will also be able to jump right into the action and strategy of this second release.
The main campaign in Kohan: Ahriman's Gift has the player switching from traditional allegiances to battle from the perspective of the shadowy clan that was the enemy in the first game. Set during events that lead up to the original game's Cycle of Destruction campaign, this adventure has the player steering the forces of the dark Ceyah against the aggressions of the other factions. The two other campaigns in this release also precede the storyline of Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns, offering their own tests and perceptions of the epic conflict. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

“I can never win playing the zombies! They move too slow to get anywhere, so I just wander around, moan and get slaughtered allot. LOL, great fun. ”
