DESCRIPTION
Klax is a puzzle game requiring you to sort different colored tiles tumbling toward the screen on a conveyor belt. Your job is to move a paddle back and forth to catch the tiles and then place them in one of five storage bins directly below. The goal is to create "Klaxes" or matches of three or more similarly colored tiles horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You also have the ability to throw a tile back onto the conveyor belt to buy more time. Create a match and the tiles will disappear; fill up the storage bins and they'll spill over, ultimately ending the game.
Klax is divided into 100 different waves, each requiring you to perform a certain task. Instead of simply removing the tiles from the conveyor belt, you must complete an objective, which could involve scoring 10,000 points or clearing a certain amount of rows. Klax for the Lynx also uses the vertical length of the screen, meaning you have to hold the unit on its side to play. Options include starting from wave number one, six or eleven on your choice of three difficulty levels. The higher the difficulty level, the faster the tiles! ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
