There are only two kinds of people in Melbourne House/EA's KKND (Krush Kill 'N Destroy), and they both share xenophobic and warlike tendencies and will do anything to rid what remains of planet Earth of the other group. Set sixty years after the third world war, KKND pits the Survivors against the Evolved in battle fought in a hellish wasteland that was once our beloved planet but was destroyed in a nuclear fury. It's a fight to the bitter end, with the ruins of civilization as the main prize.
Players take the control of one of these post-apocalyptic forces, each with its own unique point of view. The Survivors stayed underground and have recently returned to the surface to find a strange mutated race as their mortal enemies. That enemy is the Evolved, who have been badly transformed by living in a world covered in radiation, who consider the Survivors (or Symmetrics as they call them) the reason the world is like it is!
While the Survivors have retained greater knowledge of technology, the Evolved have learned to control mutated beasts for their fighting forces. Oil, or "Earth's Blood" to the Evolved, is the most precious juice of life and both factions will fight to death to obtain and control it.
