He's pink, he's round, he's cute — and he's ready to bring the hurt to the baddies who have disturbed his peaceful homeland. Aside from his endearing appearance, the gentle hero Kirby is known for his abilities float gracefully over danger and to swallow opponents and borrow their powers. He'll need to float, eat, and learn to use the powers of two dozen different enemies if he's going to save the land in this adventure.

When the ill-mannered King Dedede absconds with the magic Star Rod, the Fountain of Dreams stops working and the citizens of Dream Land can no longer dream. Kirby must recover the pieces of the rod to restore power to the fountain. Like a few other GBA hits starring favorite Nintendo characters (such as the Super Mario Advance games ), Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land is a specially enhanced port of a classic NES game, Kirby's Adventure. ~ T.J.
