DESCRIPTION

Based on an arcade game called Thayer's Quest is Kingdom: The Far Reaches. Players take on the persona of an apprentice wizard named Lathan Kandor, a descendant of the Argent Kings who used to rule the Five Kingdoms.

Lathan is sent by his mentor, Daelon to find the pieces of The Hand of Mobus, a great magical item crafted by the head wizard of the Order of Great Wizards. Daelon is the last member of the Order still living, and he is growing old. He believes Lathan is his last chance to retrieve the five great artifacts that are all that is left of the Hand of Mobus.

On his quest, Lathan will run into some truly terrible foes, including Torlock, the brother of Mobus and author of his death, The Plague Wizard, Torlock's enforcer, and Drakesblood, who has usurped the throne of the lovely Princess Grace Delight.

Your job is to retrieve the five artifacts that once made up The Hand of Mobus, the Black Mace, The Hunting Horn, and the Orb of Mobus. These items are located in the three Kingdoms in this game, Glendoe, Illes, and Iscar.
