DESCRIPTION
In this sequel to Kid Icarus on NES, you must guide arrow-slinging angel Pit in a quest to retrieve three sacred treasures to protect the idyllic Angel Land from an enemy invasion. Your journey will take you across 13 levels and three vertically designed fortresses, each filled with an assortment of crawling, flying, and slithering enemies and guarded by a boss creature. To assist in his adventure, Pit can find various shops and chambers to acquire items such as hammers, hearts, keys, and life-replenishing water. Unlike the NES game, the Game Boy version lets you save progress via battery backup. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
