DESCRIPTION

The beautiful Princess Mariko is held captive in the fortress of the evil warlord Akuma. Only a Karateka, one skilled in the arts of karate, would have a chance of infiltrating the dark dungeon to rescue her.

In Karateka, you take on the challenge of rescuing the Princess. Alone and unarmed, you must fight your way past one guard after another to complete your mission.

In this side scrolling game, you must defeat an opponent in hand to hand combat to move to the next screen which takes you deeper into the fortress.
