Konami's popular franchise teams up with TV's ultra-popular karaoke show for the third time in Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore 2. Players can once again strain their vocal chords to 40 hit songs from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and 2000s, and as usual, scoring is based on accurately matching each song's vocal pitch and rhythm. Gamers can also choose from a selection of new characters, each available to be customized and accessorized as they advance through four new venues. Up to eight players can get together and croon in a variety of multiplayer modes, including the new online co-op mode that lets friends and family team up to take on other groups from around the country.
