Jordan vs. Bird: One on One pits two of the NBA's greatest stars against each other in your choice of a slam-dunk contest, three-point shootout or traditional one-on-one game, with each player shooting and rebounding in his own inimitable style. The players don't look much like their real life counterparts (even during the title screen), but their jerseys look nice and the character animation is top-notch. Unfortunately, the one-on-one format is not as rewarding or as versatile as video basketball games with four or more players, and Jordan would probably trounce Bird a real game of one-on-one. The slam-dunk contest and the three-point shootout help offset this weakness, though. Whether you choose Michael or Larry, this is a fairly enjoyable game, especially in the two-player mode. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
