In 1975, Steven Spielberg terrified filmgoers with Jaws, a scary movie about a killer shark. In 1987, the folks at Enteractive, Inc bored gamers with Jaws, a non-scary videogame about a killer shark. The game begins with a dull overhead view of you sailing your boat, trying to avoid the Great White. If Jaws or another sea creature rams your boat, the action switches to a repetitive side-view sequence where you fight as a diver, from a mini-sub or from your boat. The goal is to collect enough conch shells (which increase the effectiveness of your attacks) to eventually defeat the shark. But by the time you reach the final anti-climactic scene, you'll be so tired that you won't care if you kill Jaws or not. You'll just be glad the game's almost over. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
