Memories of the Past is an updated remake of the game Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles, featuring re-localized versions of the three original cases, three all-new cases, and five "comic episodes" that make use of a new, ultra-simplified art direction. Players must once again control the dapper detective as he unearths clues, interviews witnesses, and follows leads to solve the serious cases, but those looking for lighter fare can also try the "Jake Hunter Unleashed!" cases to engage in some humorous misadventures. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
