MTV's stunt-based reality show that aired from 2000-02 makes its DS debut with Jackass: The Game. Staying true to the television program and its subsequent movie spin-offs, the title offers an assortment of lowbrow activities made popular by stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the uncouth crew. As in the earlier PlayStation 2 and PSP versions, stunts in Jackass: The Game are depicted in a series of interactive mini-games. Players will hurl medicine balls at characters in a dodgeball variant, use a slingshot to fire snowballs at pedestrians, and engage in shopping cart races, human catapults, and similar lowbrow fare. While each event offers a slightly different presentation, all feature touch-screen controls. The DS version was developed by Sensory Sweep Studios, whose previous credits on the handheld include Justice League Heroes and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
