DESCRIPTION

After attracting a devoted fan base through airings on Cartoon Network's late night "Adult Swim" programming block, InuYasha comes to North American PlayStation 2 consoles in the form of this RPG. The animated series involves the story of a schoolgirl named Kagome, who falls down a well and is magically transported to feudal Japan, where she meets her rival/companion/love-interest Inuyasha, a dog-like half-demon boy. Together, the two go on adventures to recover the scattered pieces of an ancient, shattered artifact. In The Secret of the Cursed Mask, players take the role of one of two new characters (created especially for the game by anime artist Rumiko Takahashi) who have been sent back in time just like Kagome. They'll make friends and enemies in the legendary lands of InuYasha, and these relationships will have great influence over their ultimate quest to return to the present-day world. ~ T.J.
