DESCRIPTION

Paul and Vince are back in Ikari III: The Rescue. As the subtitle would imply, our heroes are out this time on a rescue mission. The President's daughter Elise has been kidnapped by a global organization bent on global domination known as Crime Ghost, and only Paul and Vince are cut out for such a task. On a larger scale, Crime Ghost and its leader Faust are very close to taking over the world in the economically unsound late 20th century. Paul and Vince definitely have their hands full.

As one of the Ikari Warriors, you and a friend will battle your way through seven stages of overhead view action. The primary weapon of each warrior is his martial arts skills, but weapons such as machine guns, grenades, and rocks can be used when they are found. While most of the action takes place on land, one of the levels occurs underwater. The final battle is with Faust himself. ~ Christopher Michael Baker, All Game Guide
