DESCRIPTION

In Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, things are getting hot. So hot, in fact, that the ice is melting, and now Manny, Diego, and Sid have to get to dry land before they are washed away forever. Rumor has it there is a boat ready to take all the animals to a safe place, but getting the three furry friends to it in time won't be so easy. Players must navigate the animals through water parks, geysers, and tar pits, using each character's special skill to complete the stage. A Mammoth-like Manny will push things, dentist-deprived Diego can jump over gaps, and slow-moving Sid can climb ladders and monkey bars. The Nintendo DS version of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown includes mini-games such as "Go Nuts," "Split Identity," and "Sid's Slippery Sloth Slide Challenge" to give players a break from the quest at hand. ~ Gracie Leach, All Game Guide
