DESCRIPTION
Hook is based on the movie of the same name. The storyline centers on the children's book, Peter Pan. At the start of the movie Peter Pan is now Peter Banning, who, because he has grown up, has lost all memory of ever being Peter Pan. He and his family are visiting Wendy in London. The game picks up the storyline at this point with Peter Banning putting his kids, Jack and Maggie, to bed. With the flash of a light the kids are gone and a note from Captain Hook is left behind.
Tinkerbell arrives to remind Peter Banning who he is and that he must rescue his children. He just cannot accept that he is Peter Pan so Tinkerbell picks him up and drops him off in Never-Never Land. Players take control of Peter Pan and must first prove to Rufio, The Lost Boys, and himself that he is in fact the real Peter Pan. Then it is off to battle enemies and Captain Hook is order to rescue Jack and Maggie.
As Peter Pan you have the ability to jump and slash with a sword. Holding down the jump button will allow you to glide almost as if your flying. Tinkerbell will show up at specific times to fill up a meter bar allowing you to fly for short periods of time. Three lives and three continues are provided at the start of the game. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
