Inspired by the slapstick finale of the 1990 movie, your objective in Home Alone is to fend off the "wet bandits" for 20 real-time minutes by picking up and dropping interchangeable icons that are supposed to represent objects like light bulbs, tacks and a spider. If one of the fast-moving, goofily drawn bandits touches an icon, they are stunned for a few seconds. If a bandit touches you, it's game over. The underlying flaw is that the bandits are already in the house when the game begins, removing any possibility of strategic trap setting. Also, since every icon functions exactly the same, there's so little variety that even if you get good enough to last the full 20 minutes, you won't want to. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
