As lackluster as the first Home Alone game was, its gameplay at least resembled the movie. Not so with Home Alone 2, a dismal platform game that has Kevin facing off against vacuum cleaners, flying mops, possessed suitcases and bomb throwing shop clerks. The controls are appallingly bad, the visuals are sloppy, and the frustration level is extremely high. There's no excuse for a game released so late in the NES' life to be this bad. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
