DESCRIPTION

GT Interactive and Probe bring the PC hit Hexen to the Sega Saturn two years after its PC release. Although the look and play of Hexen is similar to that of a first-person shooter, and it is considered by most to be a first-person shooter, the majority of weapons are for hand-to-hand combat making this more of an action game with a first-person perspective. Only magic-users will attack more from a distance rather than using close combat.

Levels are not linear and contain large areas to explore. Many secret passages exist as well. Players can choose to explore these levels as either a warrior, mage, or a cleric. Hexen is the name of the world where the game takes place, a world you must cleanse of evil.
