DESCRIPTION

The main objective in Hexen was completed, or so you thought. Believing you had destroyed every member of the Serpent Riders, you claimed victory and rode off in the sunset. Unbeknownst to you, one survived. His name is Eidolon and has employed the services of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Death, Pestilence, Famine, and War) to aid in world domination. Naturally, it will be up to you to destroy the Four Horsemen and Eidolon once and for all.

In Hexen II, a first-person shooter/adventure game, you choose from one of four character classes (Necromancer, Assassin, Crusader, and Paladin) and begin your quest. Your travels will take you to four different lands broken into many sublevels, each of which containing a member of the Four Horsemen. Along the way, you must collect weapons, armor, and artifacts in an attempt to solve ancient puzzles. Solving puzzles is essential to the gameplay as they gain you access to other areas or items.
