DESCRIPTION
Nintendo DS owners take on two pick-up-and-play games with Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure — one for each screen. Equipped with his trusty machete and guided by the player, the intrepid Henry Hatsworth makes his way through side-scrolling platform levels in the top screen, battling quirky monsters and unusual end-bosses. In the lower screen, an icon-matching puzzle game is played, in which the goal is to line up tiles with matching facial expressions and other symbols. The two games are interdependent. Defeated enemies from the upper screen fall down to become puzzle pieces the bottom screen, where matches made, in turn, power-up Henry as he leaps and bounds through dangerous territory above, by filling a meter that allows him to use special abilities. The game offers more than 30 levels of play in five themed worlds, with additional hidden content to discover. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide

“Almost managed to complete the third world. I'm stuck on the boss. It's quite tough. I've probably attempted it at least 10 times. I really, really hate the way you're stuck in the last animation...”

“This game is slowly starting to get more difficult. Nothing terrible yet, but I swear the lower screen puzzle is rising more quickly now.”

“Got a new Golden Suit piece, so I can now jump off walls. I look forward to what else I'll be able to do later on.”

“Finally getting back into this one, too. A fun platformer plus panel de pon is always a winner.”

“Starts off simple, with a lot of quirky dialogue, and then gets incredibly hard later on! I suggest this game for those who like a challenge, but without it being mind-numbingly hard. It's all about time management with this one. ”

“Ugh. My bad on the slow response - I haven't really been in the mood to write a lot lately. Um, games. I've actually been playing quite a bit: One group of friends has created a guild in Neo Steam....”

“PIcked up a DSi and this game along with it (since I couldn't find GTA Chinatown Wars). So far it's a pretty fun as advertised platform/puzzle combo game. Interested in playing more, as I only...”
