DESCRIPTION

Heavy Weapon: Atomic Tank is a side-scrolling shooter in which gamers stand alone as the last line of defense during an attack from the Red Star army. Players hop in a heavily armored nuclear tank and use six upgradeable weapons as they blast through 19 action-packed levels in "Mission" mode. Each level features a tough boss battle, and Xbox Live gamers can choose to take on all of the bosses in succession in "Bosh Rush" mode. Those looking for even more intense action can challenge a never-ending wave of foes in "Survival" mode, while co-op fans can enlist up to three friends as they chase the Red Star army back to its homeland. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Hey if you like side scrolling bullet hell shooters that aren't decidedly crazy japanese, then Heavy Weapon is for you. Its got that weird gritty arcade feeling that could only be described as nostalgic and awesome. Plus you get to use nukes! KABOOM!”
