It was single flag CTF on Coagulation, the score was tied, and we needed one more point to win. Having tired of actually playing the game, we devised a new plan. We would march straight across the field, yelling "Proud Warriors!" and take the flag. We thought it just might be crazy enough to work.
We took nothing of value with us, just our standard weapons. But by some stroke of luck, the enemy Warthog missed us completely. By the time they realized what was going on and caught up with us we were entering their base. I scored a lucky double kill on the Warthog with a grenade, and turned it into a triple kill with my magnum. The guy inside the base was no match for our unstoppable force, and we netted the flag.
You'd think we would have found a suitable vehicle for our triumphant return, but you'd be wrong. We had to do it Proud Warrior style. And so, magnums reloaded, we began our march across the bloody gulch. We made it about halfway before I and a teammate were picked off by a sniper. My team mate grabbed a Ghost, and I picked up a rifle of my own.
The flag carrier was killed by a well placed rocket, but we still had one man left to grab the flag. I took out the sniper and the rocket, my buddy in the Ghost took on the guys on feet, and our flag carrier marched triumphantly into the base and scored. We had won. Proud Warrior style.
i was the juggernaught and i had a rocket launcher with infinite ammo. all i had to do was uber pwng angaints the other players in a limated amount of time.
me and my friend did a glitch on foundation and got on top of the map
The first time I ever played Halo 2 online. I thought I was the shit because I always owned my brother and best friend. But I got online...and....and....I got killed in like five seconds. I was like "wtf?" and the scariest part....it was a whole clan against just me. I could even hear them plotting on me "He's in the garage, GET HIM!". I even tried to run "He's coming your way!" "I got him I got him!". I was so scared, proved that I sucked in Halo 2(at that time). But I later got better at Halo 2 nd I got back at some of those meanies for owning me. I'm sure that now I could take the whole lot of them. But, that was how my first experience with Xbox Live went, scary eh? :P
When Halo 2 was all the rage and everyone played it, you know? the only reason to own an xbox (other than for fatal frame of course)
Having grown bored of the usual deathmatch scenario my friends and I sought out to downright confuse the opposing players to see if we could win by them quitting.
The most memorable of those matches came by our team only holding the joystick slightly forward as to look like we were walking slow, once the other team arrived at our base, we talked extremely slow asking how they were going so fast and that we were going to report them for glitching. The opposing team FREAKED out and got all stressed saying that it was us, in fact, who were going slow, and that we shouldn't report them for glitching, though these events were a "you had to be there" they were some of the funniest moments, i have never laughed so hard.
Today i was on halo 2 and i was just playing a bit with a close friend of mine and we where playing team snipers when we found out that on the other team(blue) a person was sleeping soo we went to the person and listened closely and we heard snoring and we where so exited so the first thing we did was end the game then when it was the right time we all screamed at once and we woke him up and he said that when he woke up he fell of his bed and broke a xbox game.
Halo 2. Ahh...how I remember those days. Coming home from school and just sitting there, playing for hours and hours on LIVE. I'll bet that I have over 4500 hours logged on that game. I could probably write a freaking book on all my memories of those days. I miss those days. Everything seemed to be so much more exciting. Perhaps I just miss the days of playing with this one group of friends that has since split up. Kicknass forever.
I was on foundation(the level with all the tall buildings)and took a banshee to the road below the huge statue/monument thing and flipped it upside down. if you take a rocket and shoot on wing pod while standing on the other one, itll shoot you up insanly high. ive gotten to the tallest building on the map.At that high up, you can snipe other people but they cant touch you. its awesome.
I forget the map's name, I think it was BTB. Anyway, I was driving a warthog off of a ramp, it was the industrial construction map, and I hit the support beam hanging in mid-air from a crane. I flipped around and landed all four wheels on an enemy. xD
I got to level 24 before the first stat resets in Halo 2 took place. That was and still is huge.
