DESCRIPTION

Half-Life is a port of the 1998 PC game that became an instant hit. Players assume the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist who gets caught up in the middle of a government cover-up when strange creatures tear up the facility in which he works. Not only will you need to fend off the deadly creatures, but you will also need to fight for your life against the soldiers who are attempting to lock down the facility and eliminate all witnesses.

Aside from some technical improvements, the Dreamcast features a brand new mission called "Blue Shift" that puts the gamer into the shoes of a security guard named Barney. This mission is more than a quick add-on too as it tacks on at least another 10 hours of gameplay to the original game and introduces new elements to the overall story. ~ All Game Guide
