The third title in Activision's popular rhythm-action series to come to DS, Guitar Hero: On Tour — Modern hits brings on-the-go gamers 28 new tracks from some of the rock world's biggest names. Players once again get into the action by inserting the "Guitar Grip" peripheral into the GBA slot and strumming the touch screen with an included guitar pick stylus, belting out hits from Lenny Kravitz, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and many other artists. Series fans will find familiar "Career" mode character creation and customization options, while the new "Fan Request" mode finds wannabe rockers earning more fame by stringing together long note streaks, avoiding note bombs, and performing requests. Solo gamers can start a career and travel to a variety of venues as a lead guitarist or as a bassist, or players can go for a less intensive experience in "Quick Play," "Guitar Duel," and "Practice" modes. Four different multiplayer options let friends square off or team up wirelessly, and if other gamers have copies of Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: On Tour — Decades, groups can jam to more than 80 different songs. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
