DESCRIPTION
Majesco takes the reins of the long-running 2D fighting franchise, Guilty Gear, offering fans of the series new features in Guilty Gear: Judgment for the PSP. Developer Arc System Works has combined the arcade-style fighting of Guilty Gear X2 with a new "Boost Mode" that allows players to choose from 20 classic Guilty Gear characters for an all-out, side-scrolling, beat-'em-up gaming experience. Utilizing the PSP's wireless capabilities, players can go head-to-head against friend or foe in "Boost," "Reload," or "VS" modes. In "Story" mode, players are introduced to the kingdom of Villtania, where scattered reports from Villtanian refugees tell a tale of devastation and horror at the hands of a scholar and sorcerer named Raimond. Players will wage war (on their own or in two-player action) against Raimond and his army of supernatural beings, using character-specific combos and special moves such as Psych Burst and Dust Attack. Helping fire off powerful combos is a new controller scheme that allows players to execute difficult moves in less time. ~ Damian Francis, All Game Guide

“This game is quite a DEAL as a download from the Playstation store. It's really 2 titles in one, and it's got a lot of value for the $6 digital purchase. I found it highly amusing, but ultimately not something that will hold my interest for long.”
