DESCRIPTION
The first Xbox 360 release in this long-running series of 2D fighting games, Guilty Gear 2: Overture expands the franchise's horizons by delving into the world of 3D, Dynasty Warriors-style "tactical melee" combat. Gamers and their opponents begin with a solitary tower that sends drone fighters out into battle, and the object is to then advance through a series of interconnected paths in an attempt to strategically capture more towers. Players are given a roster of more than 50 servant drones, and this small army must be deployed strategically in order to help capture new towers while simultaneously protecting player-controlled towers from siege. Multiplayer options let up to four Xbox Live users compete in Team Deathmatch and Free-for-All modes, and gamers can experience the action with either the translated English or original Japanese dialogue. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“A very under rated game. Take the character you know from guilty gear put them in a RTS type game while still keeping the guilty gear fighting style and you have Guitly Gear 2: Overture.”
