DESCRIPTION
The second downloadable "episode" for Rockstar North's magnum opus Grand Theft Auto IV, The Ballad of Gay Tony puts players in the shoes of Luis Lopez, a small-time criminal who works full-time for nightclub entrepreneur Tony "Gay Tony" Prince. As with The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony offers gamers a selection of new vehicles, weapons, and characters, and the storyline occasionally intermingles with the gritty immigrant saga of Niko Bellic. The story of Luis Lopez, however, deals more with the glitzy side of Liberty City, as evidenced by three new nightclubs, new drinking and dancing mini-games, and the ability to earn cash by working security and catering to the wealthy elite at Prince's three nightclubs.
But the sheen of the club lifestyle only hides the grime underneath, and to truly make money, players must hit the streets, form shaky alliances, and make use of new weapons like automatic shotguns, advanced sniper rifles, and sticky bombs. The Ballad of Gay Tony also marks a return to the more fantastical action of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with missions involving helicopter shootouts, the theft of railcars, and the return of parachutes and skydiving. New in-game radio stations, Internet content, and TV shows once again add to the game's atmosphere, and new multiplayer options include kill streaks, cash for kills, and more confined "Deathmatch" arenas. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
