DESCRIPTION

Gradius Neo is the first mobile edition in Konami's long-running scrolling shooter series, Gradius. As in the 1985 arcade original and the other console and handheld versions that precede it, players control the Vic Viper, a small but well-armed space ship. The ship speeds forward toward the right of the screen, shooting and avoiding shots from the many enemies it encounters, on the way to a showdown with a powerful boss ship at the end of each level. In Gradius Neo, players take four-direction control of the movements of the ship while an auto-shoot function keep the blasters firing. Gradius Neo offers five stages of side-scroller shooting with multiple difficulty settings. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
