DESCRIPTION
Sequel to the Xbox 360's first truly Epic hit, Gears of War 2 continues the brutally gruesome futuristic, apocalyptic wartime adventures of Marcus Fenix. Set six months after the end of the original Gears of War, the single-player campaign follows Fenix and his COG Delta Squad as they lead the way in humanity's desperate counter-offensive against the Locust, a last-ditch effort to destroy the subterranean scourge where it lives. Players embark on squad-based first-person shooter missions in a desperate assault against an enemy that has no mercy, nor should be given any. New abilities and weapons help in the fight. Portable shields make it safer to advance through open spaces, and when a proper shield is not handy, a fallen enemy can be used for portable cover. Weapons such as the "Mulcher" machine gun and the "Scorcher" flamethrower leave their mark on the destructible environments, as well as on Locust enemies.
Expanded support for co-op play allows two to play through the main campaign together, with support for easy drop-in and -out play, and the option for each teammate to use a different difficulty setting, allowing a veteran COG commando to play alongside a newcomer to the series, and both to still enjoy the right level of challenge. The game also offers a new "Horde" co-op mode, in which up to four players together struggle to fight off wave after wave of increasingly difficult Locust attacks — battling for high scores, and perhaps even to reach the rumored, final 50th wave. In all, the sequel features eight modes of online multiplayer play, including the two-man team "Wingman" mode, a meaty twist on capture-the-flag, called "Submission," in which the "flag" is a computer-controlled character, and "Guardian," a variation of the original game's "Assassin," in which each team receives unlimited respawns until its designated Guardian is killed. ~ T.J. I'm French and sometimes find myself on the receiving end of the most ridiculous prejudice. I usually play along, something like "wait, I was just eating some fromage in my baguette, but now I'm ready to play". Or I'll face them head on with something like "Don't be cocky, you won because you played better than me, not because you're American". Or just some plain ol' lecturing.
It is my experience that when confronted to meaning of their words, most people will stand corrected. But what applies in my case doesn't have to be true in your case, because those are 2 different kinds and degrees of prejudice.
It has happened to me dozens of times on XBL, so by now I'm more amused than angry when it happens.
And I can always quit and hope that the next people I play with have an IQ greater than a bulldog.
I wish to pint out that most people I chat with online during play are act polite or lively people, and are nice to play with. These idiots are anomalies.

“With online activities in general it is the fact that people can insult others and get away with it because the other person will never find out who they are. Being online multiplies the worst in people a thousand times. You take some arrogant person in real life and they will be worse online because you don't know who they are. As in the case of guys being mean, and from what I am reading you are implying extra mean though correct me if I am wrong, the only thing I can come up with is ego. On a serious note though, most girl gamers actually play way more intense then some of the guy gamers i know, they actually can focus more on strategy and outwitting then brute force. When i played professionally I would always try to recruit at least one girl gamer for my squad in Counterstrike, a lot of times it can prove to be quite advantageous.

“Reaching level 25 on MP. LOL. It's not something huge to regular players. After not playing the game for 3months and coming back to it, I've been able to get more achievements, which is kinda cool.
