(@Majesco) takes some poetic license in this remake of the arcade classic, adding four new scrolling backgrounds and making the fighter ships a little more colorful. Also, although Galaga command ships may still steal your fighter, this version is more forgiving and does not remove a ship from your reserve. Seasoned arcade veterans may notice that enemy flight formations and other patterns do not exactly match those in the original game. Gameplay is very similar to the classic title, however, featuring a shooting fighter that players move back and forth across the bottom of the screen as enemies drop bombs and swoop in from above. ~ T.J.
