DESCRIPTION
The Gadget King's precious gem has been stolen by the nefarious Thump, the main Gadget Baddie. It is up to the flying duo of Bop and Bump to retrieve the gem and give Thump what he deserves — a serious butt kicking.
Gadget Land consists of six levels: Gadget Bay, Zeppelin Attack, The Lost City, Sub Attack, The Crystal Lake and Thump's World. It is a dangerous place filled with buzzing, swooping, snapping, stinging, diving, popping and attacking Gizmo Gadgets. To fend off these bizarre creatures, you are equipped with a spring glove mechanism that lets you punch up, down, right and left.
By opening pirate chests and barrels, you can add special power-ups to your arsenal, such as extra energy, lives, speed, shields, bombs and bonus icons, which let you warp to the bonus level when the round ends. In addition, you can grab coins for use in buying specialized weaponry, such as a hammer, a hover mine, a spinner, weights and a yo-yo. While battling enemies, be careful of magnets, air currents and other obstacles. Thump himself shows up twice in every level, each time in a different airship or ocean craft.
In the one-player mode of Gadget Twins, you control Bop. When two players are involved, the one handles Bop while the other player guides Bump. Both characters fly, as opposed to running and jumping. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
