Frogger's Journey: The Forgotten Relic blends the classic overhead-view perspective found in 1981's original coin-op with the more modern trappings of a role-playing game that involves Frogger's quest to find his grandfather. Players will traverse across 18 themed environments, including caverns, forests, temples, and other locales, while conversing with characters and acquiring special items such as a grappling hook. Stored within Frogger's backpack, the grappling hook can be used to latch onto distant platforms in order to propel Frogger forward. Up to four players can also participate in special competitive levels requiring only one cartridge. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
