DESCRIPTION

Based on the 1990 film, Flight of the Intruder is a simple but solid arcade-style flight sim set during the Vietnam War. The game is divided into 12 overly similar missions, each consisting of in-the-cockpit dogfight sequences and bombing runs that take place from a behind-the-plane view. The aircraft controls are extremely basic, making the experience repetitive soon after the first mission. In both gameplay modes, smooth scaling and an effective sense of motion makes up for the lack of detail in the environments. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
