DESCRIPTION
Fire Pro Wrestling 6 Men Scramble from Human Entertainment is a 2D wrestling game for the Saturn. The ring is viewed from an elevated diagonal perspective, with all four ropes, two diagonal posts, and the area outside the ring being usable. Over a hundred wrestlers available, ranging from Japanese stars like Hayabusa to American wrestlers like Hulk Hogan.
The game offers a wide variety of play modes and options. There are the usual career, tournament, six-man battle royale, and single-match modes in addition to more exotic modes like electrified barbwire deathmatches or grudge matches in an octagonal ring. For players who want to design their own wrestlers, the game also includes a detailed creation system. Created wrestlers initially have a set amount of points to be allocated in certain attributes, but by winning championship belts in various career mode paths, players can increase that point total.
Fire Pro Wrestling's system is relatively straightforward. Although there are no life bars, the goal is to pummel the opposing wrestler enough so that you can get a pin or force him to submit in a hold. If you break the opposing wrestler, the referee will also call the match in your favor. Each character has weak, medium, and strong techniques. Opponents will initially be susceptible to weak techniques only, but through repeated blows will become susceptible to medium and strong techniques. ~ Kyle Knight, All Game Guide
